The 20th day of each month is our cut off date for processing applications to be effective on the first day of the next month.  All card are effective on the first day of each month.

PLEASE NOTE:  If your application is received in our office or submitted online before the 20th day of the month your prescription card will be effective on the 1st day of the next month. (EXAMPLE: if you submitted this application between the 1st and the 19th of January, your card will be effective February 1st.) 

However, if your application is received in our office or submitted online after the 20th day of the month your card will be effective on the 2nd month.  (Example:  you submitted your application between the 21st and 31st day of the month in January, then your card will be effective on March 1st.)

The reason for the delay between the 21st and the 31st is that we need time to process your information, send it to our providers, plus produce and send you your ID cards via the US Postal Service.  That is why we ask you to please allow 2 – 3 weeks for delivery.
